– NONATO LIMA – Nonato Lima plays the accordion with virtuosity. Regarded by Richard Galliano as one of the most talented accordionists of the new generation, Nonato Lima's work draws inspiration from classical music, jazz, and Brazilian instrumental music. Born in Fortaleza in Brazil's Northeast, the instrumentalist is also a composer (with two albums released) who champions the musical expression of the Brazilian soul and its Iberian, African, and European roots. He follows in the footsteps of legends like Dominguinhos and Sivuca, while establishing a distinctive personal style and captivating virtuosity. His fluid, expressive playing takes the audience on a musical journey where sophisticated jazz harmonies meet Brazilian folk roots. In a solo setting, he offers an immersive experience—where every note tells a story—paying tribute to great Brazilian composers while also presenting original compositions. VIDEOS
