brakence

brakence began uploading songs on SoundCloud in 2016. While his early tracks were a unique blend of arrhythmic beats and dreamy vocals, his later work can be described more as emo rap with lo-fi hip-hop beats. He draws inspiration for his lyrics from his own life and doesn't shy away from tackling difficult subjects like mental health. In 2020, he independently released his first album, "punk2," followed quickly by his second album, "hypochondriac,"

Following the release of the of his last album, brakence slowly disappeared, but suddenly made a comeback in September with the release of the single 'ready or noT' off his latest album 'marroW'. After two years brakence returns to Melkweg!
