MAZE and guests present compositions where memory and association play a role in concept, score, and performance. Whether it concerns dreams, the desire to repeat something, childhood memories, association, or finding one’s way navigating a path, remembering creates a new experience of what we think we know because it inevitably goes hand in hand with forgetting and being open to the future. The festival takes place over two days at Splendor in Amsterdam, a venue that aligns closely with our artistic practice and audience where one can find intimate listening experiences, unconventional stage setups, and close interaction between performers and visitors.
