Blooming Sounds A family concert

This spring, violin and oboe take a gentle step off the beaten path.

Violinist Luis Mascaro and oboist Maripepa Contreras invite children and their grown-ups into a fresh and imaginative sound world.

In this improvised concert inspired by Vivaldi’s Spring, the music unfolds in the moment, guided by curiosity, playfulness and attentive listening.

Through live electronic effects and subtle sound layering, melodies echo, harmonies bloom and small musical ideas grow into unexpected landscapes. Classical themes are stretched, reshaped
and reimagined, revealing new colors and textures. At times rhythmic and lively, at times light and airy, the music moves like spring itself, full of color, movement and quiet transformation.
