Bloodywood is returning to Melkweg! In 2023, they sold out our OZ in no time, and in 2025, they are going even bigger with a show in the MAX. The folk metal band from India alternates sung and rapped choruses, supported by a devastating mix of Indian folk instruments and metal. Think of the percussive power of the dhol, the melancholic flute, the one-string tumbi, and many other characteristic sounds from India. Bloodywood addresses serious themes in their lyrics, in both Hindi and English, such as mental health and bullying.
