Banji

Utrecht-based indie quartet return with a new album

After two years of silence, Banji is back. The Utrecht-based quartet threw themselves heart and soul into their new album, are now closing the studio door behind them and reclaiming the stage with an explosion of beats, hooks and energy. Their sound shifts effortlessly between alternative indie, electro-funk and playful hip-hop, and Banji always consciously push the boundaries of genres. Energetic, quirky and tightly produced, with hooks and lyrics that stick in your head. This summer marks their first live performances in two years and heralds a new chapter for Banji. The wait is over, and they’re back to stay.
