BaianaSystem celebrates the music of their roots with Afro-Brazilian rhythms, samba reggae, and influences of rock and pop that combine with artful visuals. The group's major inspiration is the Bahian guitar, an instrument from the Brazilian province of Bahia, which they try to keep alive through their music and name. After a career of already fifteen years, they now come to Europe with their “Sambaqui Show” in which they focus on sambaquis, remnants of land where the original Brazilians settled. An ode to the history and music of Brazil with festive songs and unforgettable visuals!
