B. Base- a body based space
“I walk, and the walking warms me up. When I move, the space between us takes on different forms.”
Skin Hunger is an immersive, interdisciplinary performance by Mireia Varón Gallofé, in collaboration with Puck Füsers and Myra-Ida van der Veen. Blending dance, poetry, and sound, it traces the absence of touch and the echoes of skin memory.
Rooted in research and accessibility since its inception, the work invites all audiences, with special attention to blind users, into a tender world beyond sight.
Dance is often considered a visual art form; Skin Hunger challenges this assumption by reimagining how dance can be experienced and felt. Inclusion here is not only a social responsibility but also an artistic opportunity to expand the language of performance.
On this journey, scent becomes costume, sound becomes movement, warmth becomes distance, and language triggers imagination.
What happens when touch is longed for, imagined, or remembered?
Skin Hunger invites audiences to listen with their bodies, feel with their ears, and sense the presence of others through absence.
There will be two performances of 30 minutes, each with a limit of 10 participants. Reserve your spot by purchasing a ticket in advance.
