Ascension presents Svdden Death: a night of relentless drops, dark rituals and pure bass devastation.

Daniel Howland, better known as Svdden Death, is an electronic music producer and DJ from the Bay Area, renowned for his heavy, unsettling and experimental dubstep. With ominous sound design, merciless drops and theatrical live performances, he has grown into one of the most outspoken names within the international bass scene. His breakthrough came in 2017 with the EP Spelljam on Never Say Die’s Black Label, followed by underground anthems such as ‘Take Ya Head Off’ and ‘Shut ’Em Down’.

Svdden Death has performed at festivals including Ultra, EDC Las Vegas and Rampage, and continues to push the boundaries of dubstep. On 5 June, he brings his uncompromising energy to Melkweg.
