Anat Fort meets Aviv Noam
ECM pianist meets local improvisers
Pianist and Composer Anat Fort is one of Israel’s notable jazz musicians. She has published three albums of her original music under the top-notch label ECM, two of them with her international trio (Gary Wang – bass and Roland Schneider – drums), which has been active for over 25 years. She was the first Israeli to record for the label and paved the way for those who followed.
In Splendor, she will be joined by Dutch Jazz Award winner Aviv Noam and bass player Omer Govreen for an evening of fresh music, improvised and otherwise.
