Amorphq

Over the last two years in Berlin, a small collective of musicians has come together to organize a series of events called "Amorphq" showcasing noise, improvised, drone and experimental music, with local musicians and artists from all over the world passing through Berlin.

We are organizing a tour for the series called Amorphq Neocities

death telephone. -  death telephone is an electro-acoustic duo based in Amsterdam. Their immersive sound world is constructed through the acoustic sound sources of alto saxophone and a cymbal equipped with a transducer speaker, both manipulated through feedback systems and live sampling. They exist in the intersection between the human and the machine; like a musical cyborg the physical bodies and instruments find new pathways through technological means, unraveling and observing the fringes of their musical language and human limitations with a poetical lens. Material and ideas are repeated on a microscopic level in which they seek resonance and destruction, creating bleak and melancholic soundscapes that ambulate between sparse minimal sounds and ecstatic outbursts akin to noise music.

G4BF x Kido  -   G4BF (Garmonbozia for Breakfast) prepares and serves distorted culinary recipes, nauseating food for humans, delicacies for demons. Every ingredient is good for making disgusting mush. Cooking is experimentation, isn't it? G4BF is a multifaceted project, with variable personnel, by musicians Giorgio Alloatti and Paolo Possidente. Doomscroll Doomscroll - Ivana Kekic (voice / phone) and Benjamin Whitehill (guitar) - is a meditation on the mass of digital detritus that swamps our synapses.

Force Feedback  -  Alessandro Citterio is a Berlin-based musician, dj, sound composer and designer, active in Berlin’s noise/experimental scene. Current resident sound tech of Petersburg Art Space (PAS) and part of Rome’s Benchpress collective. His work explores intense sound design based compositions that are usually presented alongside live analog projections from several independent artists in the underground scene. He puts an effort in melding modern and classic sound manipulation techniques. He performs his compositions live as Force Feedback and Djs as Stinkymate.

MEA  -  At the heart of Mea's current iteration is the acoustic guitar, re-imagined as a resonant body rather than a traditional harmonic instrument. Positioned horizontally, the guitar is used as a complex sound generator that incorporates multiple layers of feedback and interaction. Two distinct sources of resonance provide a rich sonic palette which in feedback amplifies and alters the natural acoustic properties of the instrument. The feedback loop is further enriched by blending pre-recorded audio material and the resonance of a mixer itself. The resulting soundscape is a unique exploration of the instrument's natural and electronic possibilities.
