Allegra Krieger
Allegra Krieger was born a selkie in the Atlantic Ocean in 1845. After adopting a more conventional physical form, she moved to New York City, where she took up residence on the sixth floor of a hotel in East Midtown. She writes songs, bad checks, love letters, and poorly formatted emails, believing that terrible events can sometimes lead to extraordinary outcomes.
Her most recent album, Art of the Unseen Infinity Machine, was released in September 2024 via Double Double Whammy. This is her second full-length album with the label, featuring twelve tracks that explore the delicate boundary between life and death. Krieger describes the title, infinity machine, as “a convergence of interwoven forces that propel humanity through the relentless flow of time.” She is now set to tour with the album.
