Afrovism is an open source platform that celebrates the Afro diaspora. Throughout every move, the aim is to inspire and embrace shared experiences, traditions, and values that bind the different cultures together.

For the 7th edition of Afrovism we’ve invited a selection of creatives who work from a place of lightheartedness, and everything they do feels like a breath of fresh air. Whether through fashion, sound, sculpture, community, or storytelling, they craft from a place of authenticity and transformation and each bring unique interpretations of what it means to create with intention and shape their own world.
The Book ClubWithin this edition, you can add The Book Club as an extra option to your ticket. Be quick because the tickets are limited. Literature, creative dialogue and curate conversations will be merged around the book ‘A Quick Ting on Afrobeats’ by Christian Adofo. By bringing together readers and non-readers, The Book Club creates a dynamic space for thought-provoking exchanges that go beyond the pages of a book.
Line Up
Sheray Of Light – multidisciplinary artistSheray Of Light crafts experiences that merge the intersection of art and fashion and creates art objects, clothing pieces, and experiences with the intention to inspire others to align with their essence. Her belief that softness is liberation resonates through her work, offering a tactile and visual exploration of identity and essence.
I.L.L.K.N.O.L.E.D.G.E – duoI.L.L.K.N.O.L.E.D.G.E, the duo of Steve Hartley and Mill Voyance, embody an intuitive and spiritual approach to their sound which they call ‘Akan Fu’. Their craft is an embodiment of their philosophy of the close relationship between music and spirituality, their artistry is a sonic breath of fresh air.
Calis Nyarko is celebrated for his unique ability to merge the soulful essence of Gospel with the dynamic energy of Electronic music. Calis combines live instrumentation — playing the saxophone, drumpad, and keys—with dynamic electronic beats to create an immersive musical experience.
Goldiie – artistGoldiie is a multidisciplinary artist who blends various forms of creativity. For her, the creative process is a dialogue with her environment—one that merges culture, design and art. Every piece she creates tells its own story, weaving together her Caribbean heritage with the rich and diverse influences of her life in The Netherlands.
Jahiquasim – visual storytellerJahiquasim is an Afropean visual storyteller, researcher, writer, Afro-futurist, day dreamer and painter. their practice publishes like a visual diary, combining color, words, reflection and dialogue. inspired by their cultural and spiritual identity, anti colonial theory, Afro-futurism and the practice of imagining otherwise.
Showroom AmsShowroom Ams connects brands and culture-oriented media outlets with emerging talent. They are rooted in fashion and music, embedded in the underground networks of both scenes and work with some of today’s most interesting established and emerging artists. Their curation uplifts voices that challenge and redefine creative norms.
1.06 library – dj1.06 library aims to stimulate, educate and enlighten all curious minds and supporters of music.
A library, that holds on archive of physical music selections curated by DRKNGHTS. Patrons of the art can indulge in a catalog of vinyl, cassette, and CD’s (+other discs).
The library stimulates the mind and/or creative processes by the means of sound. lmagine being surrounded by a library filled with music, audio sound system and listening stations where you are encouraged to fully dig into the music & artist(s) and tease your mind for further creativity.
