A Bloody Good Night: a fundraiser for menstrual products
A Bloody Good Night: a night of storytelling and comedy dedicated to periods and everything around them! All the ticket sales will go towards supplying period products for displaces women in Lebanon.
Lesh Hek is an initiative created to raise awareness on period poverty and to make period products accessible and free to all who need them.
Due to the current escalation of war in lebanon more than 1⁄3 of the country is displaced, leaving women & girls vulnerable and exposed in shelters, on the streets, or without any shelter. Our current priority is providing these vulnerable groups of women and girls with sanitary products.
WHAT IS “LESH HEK?”
The Arabic phrase “lesh hek” translates to “why is it like this?”. We choose to question the stigma, inequality, and taboo of period poverty and access to period products.
