SUMMARY:Writing Workshop Kinke Kooi
DTSTAMP:20261104T000914Z
DTSTART:20261212T090000Z
DESCRIPTION:Zoë Dankert returns with two new workshops. Together\, we explo
re how writing can\nhelp you get closer to a work of art.\n\nArt criticism
is often associated with critical distance\, but first and\nforemost\, it
is about relating to something new. To do so\, it is necessary to\nlet go
of expectations and to observe slowly. Language can help with this.\nThro
ugh various writing exercises\, Zoë Dankert invites you to respond in word
s\nto Kinke Kooi’s exhibition eromheen (being around).\n\nTaking the work
of Kinke Kooi as a starting point\, the workshop pays special\nattention t
o sensory writing. In doing so\, we explore the effect of ornamental\nlang
uage.\n\nWe will write art criticism (in workshop 1) and poetry (in worksh
op 2)\, and\ndiscuss how different forms of writing respond differently to
an artwork.\n\nThis workshop is open to everyone. No prior knowledge of a
rt or writing\nexperience is required to participate. You may attend one o
f the two workshops\nor register for both.\n\nPlease note: the workshop wi
ll be in Dutch\, but it is possible to receive\nfeedback on English texts.
	\n\nPrice: 6.00\n\nClick here [https://rozenstraat.stager.co/shop/rozenstr
