DESCRIPTION:Digital technologies including AI have gone beyond improving ou
	r lives\, they are\nnow embedded deeply into all facets of our societies. 
	Join this workshop to\nunderstand their impact and what you can do about i
	t.\n\nThe internet as it is\, is a material consequence of the imagination
	 of a few who\ncommodify all facets of our lives. From profiting on our at
	tention to polarising\ndemocratic discourses\, the internet infrastructure
	 runs on the depleting\nresources of our world. It has given us a powerful
	 way of organising\, but it is\na for profit alloy of companies more power
	ful than the states or institutions\nthat govern them. This invasively pro
	pelled imagination of the digital\, can only\nbe countered with a differen
	t imagination of the internet\, including AI. This\nworkshop creates space
	 to foster that imagination by understanding it\, devising\ncreative exper
	iments and dwelling in alternatives.\n\nImagining Degrowth on the Internet
