SUMMARY:What does the future taste like?! Towards a new food system
DTSTAMP:20261010T230301Z
DTSTART:20261121T193000Z
DESCRIPTION:Eten & Drinken Talk Warming Up Festival\n\nWith winter just rou
nd the corner\, we’re once again gearing up for lavish\nChristmas dinners
and (un)comfortable gourmet meals with the family. Has the mix\nof ingredi
ents on the famous grill plate changed at all in recent years? The\nfigure
s don’t lie: only 4 per cent of our agriculture is organic\, and only 5 pe
r\ncent of the Dutch population eats a vegetarian or vegan diet every day.
At the\nsame time\, meat substitutes\, cultured meat and plant-based inno
vations are\ntaking off in a big way. That calls for a lively discussion.\
n\nWhat will a regenerative food system look like in 2050? And how do we g
et\neveryone on board with a more plant-based diet? Or to put it another w
ay: how do\nwe make the future more appetising for everyone?\n\nJoin us fo
	r a chat and a taste of how we’re giving the Netherlands a taste of\nits o
wn medicine. Tonight\, we’re taking a break from the GDPR for a while\, in
\nfavour of a vegan charcuterie platter\, spicy anecdotes and deep convers
ations\,\njust as you’d expect from a good dinner around the table.\n\nOur
first guest is Wouter Waayer\, a vegan farmer’s son\, activist and conten
t\ncreator. Keep an eye on this page for details of the other guests. More
to be\nannounced!\n\nThis programme is hosted by the DE/MO Foundation (an
international spin-off of\nDe Kiesmannen) and made possible with the supp
	ort of the European Union.\n\nGalerij
