	fijne manier\nbeleven.\n\nLocation change!\nTomorrow’s concert “VIKENDICA:
Atol Atol Atol (PL) / Avemaria (EE) / Alienbaby\nCollective (NL)” will ta
ke place at Willem de Zwijgerkerk (olympiaweg 14)\ninstead of OCCII.\n\nDu
e to an anti-migrant protest passing near OCCII\, we’ve decided to move th
	e\nshow to a different location. This way\, the bands\, guests\, and volun
teers won’t\nhave to cross the protest route\, making sure everyone can en
	joy the night\ncomfortably and safely.\n\nVIKENDICA RETURNS!\n\nVikendica
	is a nomadic festival-weekender for adventurous music\, curated by\nYugofu
turism\, connecting four iconic music venues in The Netherlands. From\nOct
ober 9-12\, the venues Resistor (Leiden)\, VERA (Groningen)\, WORM (Rotter
dam)\nand OCCii (Amsterdam) join hands in showcasing a convoi exceptionnel
of new acts\nfrom Europe’s most vibrant underground scenes.\n\nThe first
acts announced\, performing on all four events are angular Polish\npost-pu
nks Atol Atol Atol (PL)\, enigmatic Estonian indie quartet Avemaria (EE)\n
and sonic solo adventurer Alienbaby Collective (NL/DE). On the Friday\n(VE
	RA/Groningen) and Saturday (WORM/Rotterdam) events\, chess-themed futurist
\nRomanian duo K not K (formerly Karpov not Kasparov) join the festival. M
ore acts\nto be announced\, each night will be slightly different.\n\nThis
is the third edition of Vikendica. Named after a colloquial Western Balka
ns\nterm for a weekend home\, the festival simultaneously celebrates the i
dentity and\nambience of smaller independent music venues. The previous ed
ition opened in\nautonomous venue and community Stroomhuis in Eindhoven\,
which was lost in a\ndevastating fire soon after\, also highlighting the f
ragility of the independent\necosystem. Refuge for 2025 was found with Res
istor in Leiden\, the venue /\ncommunity space inside Vrijplaats Leiden\,
a true paragon of DIY initiative and\nresilience.\n\n09/10 Leiden | Resist

ted\, rhythmically\norganised yet freedom-hungry punkoid in the spirit of
no wave. Their new album\nis scheduled for autumn 2025.\n\nAlienbaby Colle
ctive is the moniker of Berlin based guitarist and songwriter Liú\nMottes.
The project’s sonic identity is at once immersive and fragile — layering\
nsoft\, understated vocals over restless sonic landscapes. The result is m
usic\nthat feels both expansive and deeply inward-looking\, inviting liste
ners into a\ntangible space full of friction and tenderness.\n\nEnigmatic
Estonian quartet Avemaria is influenced by Siberian punk\, fairytales\,\nt
