SUMMARY:There’s No Recipe - Jacht - Marumori
DTSTAMP:20261103T032636Z
DTSTART:20261106T190000Z
DESCRIPTION:There’s No Recipe wasn’t built around a formula. It was built a
round a feeling. \nHailing from Amsterdam\, There’s No Recipe creates guit
ar driven alt-rock with\nsome poppy hooks and melodies. Being a bit more o
n the heavy-alternative side of\nthe indie-spectrum\, the band always reta
ins a sense of artfulness and adventure\nin their songwriting. Frontman Zi
ko Schilte\, who produces the music himself\,\ngives a melancholic touch d
ue to the dark and grungy tone of his voice. The\nfour-piece has been buil
ding songs that feel like controlled derailments:\nintimate one moment\, e
xplosive the next\, always searching for something just out\nof reach. \nI
nspired by the tension and atmosphere of bands like Radiohead and Muse\, T
here’s\nNo Recipe writes about identity\; how easily it can shift\, fractu
re and reinvent\nitself. With an ambitious new EP in the works\, a brand n
ew music video and\nincreasingly packed live shows and a Paradiso performa
nce\, the band is quickly\noutgrowing the idea that it was ever supposed t
o stay small.
	aart 2027. \n\nMarumori is a five-piece driven by delicate fury. Drawing i
nspiration from bands\nlike Tigercub and Queens of the Stone Age. They fus
	e grunge-soaked alt-rock with\ncrushing riffs and violent grooves\, carefu
lly enwrought upon silken tension.\nBalancing brute force with restraint\,
Marumori’s sound thrives on contrast:\nexplosive rhythms collide with mom
ents of eerie calm\, creating a live experience\nthat feels both dangerous
and controlled. Their songs simmer with urgency\, built\nto hit hard with
out losing their sense of atmosphere. \n\nTill 01:00 - DJ Zanussi x Wiggly
