DESCRIPTION:The sculpture The Last Iceberg looks like a small\, broken-off 
	segment of a much\nlarger iceberg that has accidentally drifted into the p
	ort of Amsterdam. All the\nother icebergs have melted. This is the only on
	e left.\n\nA fairy-tale-like apparition with a monstrous climate-related d
	ark side\,\nalluding to a world under threat.\n\nFor many people\, climate
	 change remains an abstract and elusive problem. This\ninstallation\, ‘The
	 Last Iceberg’\, translates a global problem into a local\,\nphysical expe
	rience for a wide audience.\n\nThe strength of the work lies in:\n\nThe wo
	rk can be seen as a form of visual activism without being explicitly\nmora
	lising. It raises questions\, perhaps raises awareness\, and invites\ndisc
	ussion.\n\nMet de onthulling van het beeld "de laatste ijsberg " is nog ni
	et veel aandacht\nbesteed aan onze samenwerking in het programma van het "
	Warming up festival".\nHet ontwerp is klaar. Het beeld wordt nu 3d geprint
	 zodat het hol is en daardoor\nvan binnenuit verlicht kan worden. Materiaa
	l is het recyclebare plastic PetG Het\nwordt een blauw baken in de nacht. 
	Zodra een afbeelding van het ontwerp geprint\nwordt zal ik een foto daarva
	n opsturen.\n\nGraag een brainstorm gesprek over de ruimte binnen het prog
	ramma .\n\nStudio Smulders is een kunst productie bedrijf .\n\nDe artdirec
	tor en initiator van vele initiatieven is Godelieve Smulders.\n\nVoor elk 
	project wordt een team samengesteld met verschillende disciplines en\ndesk
