DESCRIPTION:SWARM\n\nAn exhibition of works by artists based at ISOISO — Ne
w SpaceAmsterdam Art Week\n\nSWARM brings together a large selection of wo
rks by artists based at ISO\,\npresented in ISO’s new space next door. The
exhibition marks a moment of\nmovement and expansion for the community\,
opening up a new environment for\nartists and their work to come together.
	\n\nLike a swarm entering a new environment\, SWARM offers a glimpse into
the\nvitality\, diversity and eclecticism of a community in constant movem
	ent and\nproduction. Across ISO’s studios\, artists work with ceramics\, w
	ood\, metal\,\nglass\, painting\, drawing\, video\, sound\, performance an
d other forms of\nexperimentation. These practices coexist\, overlap and o
ccasionally transform one\nanother\, without belonging to a single aesthet
	ic or medium.\n\nImage: Natacha Mankowski\, Les Tournesols\, 2026\, detail
	 (© Natacha Mankowski)\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nThe richness of this ecosystem al
so emerges through encounters. Shared workshops\nand tools\, conversations
\, collaborations and exchanges of knowledge create\nconnections between a
rtists\, disciplines and ways of working. Experimentation\ndevelops throug
	h curiosity\, trial and error\, dialogue and the unexpected.\n\nIn SWARM\,
individual works retain their distinct identities while becoming part\nof
a larger\, shifting composition. Together\, they reflect the interconnect
ed and\nconstantly evolving ecosystem of ISO — a community shaped as much
by its\nencounters and exchanges as by the works produced within it.\n\nTh
e exhibition also activates ISO’s new space as a place for gathering\, tak
ing a\nmoment to reflect and witnessing the beauty of the collective: anot
her\nenvironment within the ecosystem\, opening up new possibilities for w
hat can\nhappen next.\n\nThe Saturday celebration also marks the beginning
of a broader collaboration\nbetween ISO and Dekmantel x Lentekabinet\, tw
o influential platforms shaping\nAmsterdam’s contemporary music and cultur
al landscape. It opens up new\nconnections and possibilities between visua
