	r and musician Sietse van Erve\, performed by Anne La\nBerge\, Dario Calde
	rone\, Gareth Davis & Sietse van Erve\, will be released. We\nwill be cele
	brating this with a new live performance of this work.\n\nThe foundations 
	for this album were laid during a memorable live performance at\nthe Rewir
	e Festival 2024 in The Hague. There\, Van Erve (electronics\,\nsynthesiser
	s) presented the composition for the first time with musicians from\nEnsem
	ble MAZE: Anne La Berge (flute)\, Gareth Davis (bass clarinet) and Dario\n
	Calderone (double bass).\n\nThe composition has its origins in a postcard 
	of a Spanish village from the\n1960s\, which Van Erve bought in 2001 and w
	hich also features on the original\nalbum cover. The sense of tranquillity
	 and the feeling that time had stood still\nat that place planted a seed f
	or Van Erve’s artistic development at the time and\nformed the core of the
	 album ‘En de stilstaande tijd’\, a solo work from 2020.\n\nIn this new en
	semble version\, the acoustic instrumentation lends the theme a\ncompletel
	y different\, organic and more human dimension. The combination of\nelectr
	onic and acoustic instruments creates exciting contrasts as well as a\npar
