The\nexhibition is the result of an international project by the Art Education\nresearch group at the Amste rdam University of the Arts\, in which art teachers\nuse their teaching pr actice as an artistic workspace.\n\nIn Secret Arts Teachers\, art teachers work on the basis of a single shared\nquestion: what does art look like w hen you create it at the heart of the\nclassroom\, together with students? The project is based on the concept of the\nTeacher as Conceptual Artist\ n[https://framerframed.nl/projecten/ahk-symposium-en-expositie-teacher-as- conceptual-artist/]\,\nin which the distinction between teaching and makin g art is blurred. Teachers\nshare their own artistic practice with the stu dents and treat the classroom as a\ntemporary art collective. From 11 to 27 September 2026, Framer Framed presents Secret Arts Teachers, a group presentation in which the classroom en ters the exhibition space.
