	\n\nDuring Rerooting\, artists Anna Musikhina and Werner van der Zwan pres
	ent their\nartistic research. They will discuss their experiments\, creati
	ve processes\, and\nshow the works that emerged from it.\n\nRerooting is a
	bout finding new connections between technology\, nature and the\nworld ar
	ound us. Invisible to the eye\, countless signals\, processes and\nconnect
	ions exist between living beings and technology. Musikhina and Van der\nZw
	an explores these invisible layers during their Det Digit Art House reside
	ncy.\nVan der Zwan worked on a collaboration between fungi and mechanical 
	sculptures.\nMusikhina explored radio frequency: an invisible layer around
	 us. This layer has\nthe ability to show us how humans\, animals\, and pla
	nts are connected to each\nother and their environment.\n\nThe artists dre
	w inspiration from regenerative principles and ideas from\npermacomputing\
	, among others. In this way\, they developed their artwork in\nrelation to
	 the environment of the Det Digit Art House. This residency is a\ncollabor

	d researcher based in Groningen. In her work\nshe explores the relationshi
	p between technology\, ecology and invisible\ninfrastructures. She has exh
	ibited at venues including Willow\n[https://waag.org/www.willowartspace.co
	m]\, Sign Gallery\n[https://sign2.nl/websign/] and Re Gallery\n[https://ww
	w.kunstpuntgroningen.nl/agenda/restore-3-25/]\, and is currently an\nartis
	t in residence at Kunstpodium-T [https://kunstpodium-t.com/] in Tilburg. I
	n\n2025 she graduated from the Master Media Art at the Frank Mohr Institut
	e.\n\n\nABOUT WERNER VAN DER ZWAN\n\nWerner van der Zwan is an artist who 
	studied Fine Arts at Willem de Kooning\nAcademy and Philosophy at Erasmus 
	University Rotterdam. His work explores the\nrelationship between living o
	rganisms\, technology and materials. Through\nsculptures and installations
	 he investigates how non-human intelligence and\nmechanical systems can in
	fluence one another.\n\n\nDET DIGIT ART HOUSE\n\nDet Digit Art House is th
	e former home and studio of artist Det Digit. Following\nher passing in 20
	24\, it was transformed into a space for research and exchange\nat the int
	ersection of art\, design and science. Through residencies\, artists and\n
	researchers are given the opporunity to temporarily live\, work\, and expe

	h2><p>Anna Musikhina is a media artist and researcher based in Groningen.
