DESCRIPTION:Explanation dinner concert: Inspired by legendary jazz clubs li
	ke the Blue Note\nin New York and Ronnie Scotts in London\, Contra is now 
	the one and only place in\nAmsterdam where you can combine mesmerising liv
	e music with a haute cuisine\ndining experience. A dinner ticket comes tog
	ether with a menu for a set price\nthat will be shared later on\, there is
	 also a small amount of tickets available\nwithout dinner. The concert wil
	l take roughly 2 hours and consist of 3 or 4\nshort sets with each 15-20 m
	inute breaks in between. The breaks are for the\naudience to enjoy each ot
	hers company\, the sets are to listen to the music and\ndon’t disturb the 
	concert. Dinner concerts are a concert in the 1st place. If\nnecessary our
	 staff can and will ask people to be attentive of the musicians and\nthe o
	ther visitors that are there to enjoy the music. \n\n\n“Lingela”\; A folk/
	jazz quintet that preserves Lithuanian traditional music by\nbringing it t
	o the world of modern jazz. \n\nA conversation between two female voices\,
	 a trombone\, and a rhythm section takes\nyou back to the times\, when the
	 deep Lithuanian forests were surrounded by songs\nand tales about mythica
	l creatures. “Lingela” presents a new way of developing\nthis authentic re
	pertoire using the colors of jazz harmonies and different\nrhythms. The tr
	ombonist/singer and band leader Kamilė Makarevičiūtė brings a\nnew sou
	nd inspired by her deep connection to the Lithuanian heritage. \n\nThe ide
	a about this project emerged after leaving her country a couple of years\n
	ago and has gotten stronger as a response to the recent political events i
	n and\naround her country. Kamilė and the international musicians that sh
	ape this band\nbelieve that it is important to keep the tradition alive\, 
	especially during\nthese difficult times by bringing people together. Thei
	r sound is deeply\ninspired by performers like GANNA\, Merope and Elektron
