	stveen portrayed a\ngroup of young people for ten years: from the age of 1
	5 to 25. Every two years\nshe invited her daughter's high school class to 
	her studio for a new portrait.\n\nWith the project\, Oostveen investigates
	 how young people develop on their way to\nadulthood. Not only does their 
	appearance change\, but their gaze also becomes\nvisibly different.\n\nThe
	 corona pandemic unexpectedly gave the series extra meaning. Just when the
	\nyoung people wanted to spread their wings after their exams\, the world 
	came to a\nstandstill. They had a lot to deal with\, but at the same time 
	showed resilience.\n\nFive successive portraits show how ten years passed.
	 Faces get older\, hair and\nclothing styles change\, but personality and 
	continuity remain recognizable.\n\n'Practically adult’ shows how growing u
	p leaves traces. In an uncertain world\,\nvulnerability\, change and resil
