nAbstract\n\nRage is a powerful response to threats or violations. But not
all rage is\nperceived equally: a woman’s anger is too often dismissed\,
mocked\, or demonized.\n\nThis chapter follows rage back to one of its roo
ts\, grief. A grief that refuses\nto go quiet\, that will not disappear po
litely\, that turns its face outward\ninstead of folding in on itself. And
it follows rage into one of its darkest\,\nleast-spoken desires\, revenge
. Revenge promises what grief alone could not give:\nan ending\, a reckoni
	ng\, a debt finally paid.\n\nOn the 25th of November\, the International D
ay for the Elimination of Violence\nAgainst Women\, we explore this throug
	h poetry and storytelling.
