	as possible into someone's memories? What tools and techniques can you\nus
	e? We will also discuss how to prepare for an interview\, how to deal with
	 the\ninterviewee's emotions\, common pitfalls and traps\, and the do's an
	d don'ts. The\nsession also includes several practical exercises.\n\nSessi
	on 2: Putting It into Practice (Saturday\, 14 November)\n\nIn the second a
	nd final session\, you will learn about conducting and following\nup on an
	 oral history interview. Using practical examples\, we will discuss how\nt
	o prepare\, including creating a checklist of points to consider\, choosin
	g an\nappropriate location and setting\, and handling your equipment durin
	g an oral\nhistory interview. What agreements should you make regarding pu
	blication rights\nand quitclaims? Finally\, we will cover how to process t
