DESCRIPTION:pause.dxa\n\npause.dxa is an experimental music and sound proje
ct duo by Sahitya and Harsh\nbased in Auroville\, India. Our work brings t
ogether our individual practices of\nDhrupad\, a form of Indian Classical
Music and Electronic sound synthesis. As our\nmoniker suggests\, we spend
time in creating long form ambient listening\nexperiences\, which are a co
mbination of structured and improvised music. We lean\ntowards steady\, su
btle sounds and envision creating a sense of slowing down\nwhile listening
to our music.\n\nSahitya practices Dhrupad (a form of Indian Classical Mu
sic) and is a disciple\nof Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar in the Dagarvani Traditi
on. Her practice is grounded\nin the philosophy of Dagar Gharana with a fo
cus on Alaap — vocal improvisation\nand the subtlety of vocal sound. Harsh
creates electronic soundscapes with\nmodular synthesis techniques on VCV
Rack and field recordings. He is also\nresearching and actively creating i
nstallations based on cymatics. As a duo\, one\nof their projects is focus
ed on audio visual performances with live cymatics\nvisuals and music.\n\n
pause.dxa has performed and shared sound across India and internationally
over\nthe last 3 years. Some of their notable performances include Ozora F
estival\n(Hungary)\, Sanctum of Sound Series MaHalla (Berlin)\, Magnetic F
	ields Festival\nand Nomads\, GAIA Festival\, Serendipity Arts Festival\, G
	5A Warehouse\, Oddbird\ntheatre and more.\n\nOther significant projects in
clude creating a four-part sleep audio series for\nJnana\, an online platf
orm offering Eastern Philosophy classes and Yoga \; sound\ndesign for a so
lo theatre production ‘Garam Roti’\; background score for an\nindependent
film \; Cymatics installations for a Sound Garden\, Science Gallery\;\ncur
ating a listening focused venue opening soon in India.\n\nEyeless in Damas
cus\n\nEyeless in Damascus is the audiovisual project of Syrian artist\, D
J and musician\nAdnan Samman. The project's approach mainly emphasizes liv
e improvisation\,\nmerging field recordings and samples with electronics a
nd synthesizers\, creating\nsoundscapes that are sometimes comforting\, so
metimes unsettling\, but always\ncurious and exploratory. After a decade o
f being an exclusive\, intimate live\nexperience for close friends in a li
ving room\, Eyeless in Damascus recently went\npublic for the first time w
ith performances at Utrecht's ACU and Rotterdam's\nWORM.\n\nCollettivo Tac
k!\nAnastasia Kapra (dancer) is a Greek born interdisciplinary artist and\
nfacilitator working with space and movement. Her practice\, rooted in\nar
	chitecture\, reveals space through a performative\, participatory lens\, w
here\nthe experience of the spectator is centered at its core. She views i
mprovisation\nas a relational field between performers\, spectators and sp
ace alike.\nEmily Sturm (dancer) is an interdisciplinary artist working ac
ross performance\,\nsound\, image\, and movement. Fascinated by the relati
onship formed with our\nbodies through moving\, she explores how movement
allows us to encounter\nourselves anew each time we begin to move.\nBaptis
	te Martin de Frémont is a French musician guided by gesture and movement\;
\nhe built his own electronic instrument\, Symbios. Through a process of\n
hybridization shaped by chance encounters—video\, painting\, theater\, and
large\nensembles—meaning loses its footing amid these electric waves.\nDa
rio Nitti is a drummer and a percussionist with a pronounced engagement in
\ninterdisciplinary artistic practice\, whose work extends beyond the drum
kit into\ncollaborative performance contexts\, including active participa
tion alongside\ncontemporary dancers.Carla Genchi is a vocalist whose arti
stic practice extends\ninto the realm of objet trouvé performance\, incorp
orating found-object\nsonorities as an integral component of her interpret
	ive and experimental musical\nlanguage.
