DESCRIPTION:Where do you belong when home and identity have never been simp
le questions?\n\nWhere Do You Belong? is a photo exhibition by photographe
	r and filmmaker Jonnah\nBron [http://www.jonnahbron.com]\, featuring portr
aits of queer adoptees in\nplaces where they feel at home. Each participan
	t chose a location that holds\npersonal meaning: a place of comfort\, memo
	ry\, connection\, or belonging. Seated\nwithin these landscapes\, they tak
e their place in front of the camera and share\na personal reflection on t
he question: Where do you belong?\n\nFor some adoptees\, questions around
identity\, origin and belonging emerge early\nin life. Growing up between
origins\, cultures\, families or countries can create\na lifelong search f
or where and with whom one feels at home. For queer adoptees\,\nthese ques
tions can take on new dimensions as sexuality and gender identity\nbecome
part of that journey. The exhibition offers a collection of personal\npers
pectives on belonging in all its complexity.\n\nOn the opening night\, que
er adoptees featured in the exhibition come together\nfor an intimate pane
l conversation inspired by the themes explored in the work.\nTogether\, th
	ey will reflect on belonging\, identity\, adoption\, queerness\, chosen\nf
amily\, and what it means to create a sense of home. How do others see us?
How\ndo we see ourselves? Who makes us feel at home? And where do we belo
	ng? The\nChinese Empress [https://npo.nl/start/afspelen/2doc-kort-de-chine
se-keizerin]\n\nFollowing the conversation\, visitors are invited to stay\
, connect and continue\nthe conversation informally over drinks.\n\nWhere
Do You Belong? is an invitation to reflect on the places\, people and\ncom
munities that make us feel seen\, and on the many ways we create a sense o
	f\nhome for ourselves and each other.\n\n19:30 – Doors open\n\n20:00 – Pan
