SUMMARY:Packet Radio Experiment with Reticulum
DTSTAMP:20260701T205057Z
DTSTART:20260703T170000Z

DESCRIPTION:The goal of the workshop is to link a small village in Belgium
with the TBD\nlocation using shortware transceiver and a 15 meter long ant
enna.  Participants\nlearn how to operate amateur radio equipment and use
the Reticulum Network Stack\n(RNS) for long distance communication.  This
is an experiment we set up\ntogether.\n\nLong distance radio links are key
for integrating local mesh networks into a\nglobal communication network
independent of the Internet.  We take advantage of\nthe carrier agnostic a
nd auto-configuring routing properties of the Reticulum\nNetwork Stack (RN
S).  If the experiment works out\, then we can use this\ntechnique to link
	 together existing deployments in Amsterdam\, Rotterdam\, Den\nHague and U
	trecht.\n
