	en conversations!\n\nThe first film will be De Rebelse Stad (The Rebelliou
	s City)\, food will be\nserved at 19h\, and we will start the film at 20h\
	, followed by discussion.\n\nDe rebelse stad (2015)\n\n(Dutch\, subtitled 
	English)\n\nOne of the most remarkable protest movements in Dutch history 
	emerged in 60's\nAmsterdam: the provo's. With their "playful actions" (lud
	ieke acties) they\ndidn't just expose police violence and the authoritaria
	n city government\, they\nalso expanded the horizon of the possible. With 
	their "white bikes plan"\, for\nexample\, they placed bikes all around the
	 city\, free for everyone to use and to\nshare. With these symbolic action
	s\, they galvanised the youth movements of the\n60's and left a huge impac
	t on Dutch society. "De rebelse stad" shows unique\nfootage\, helping us u
	nderstand how a movement of that lasted just two years was\nable to shift 
	the Dutch political horizon so quickly.
