	er or Johnny Griffin spent a significant amount of time in the Netherlands
	.\nInfluenced and schooled by these grandmasters there is a whole generati
	on of\nDutch legends such as Rita Reys\, Pim and his brother Ruud Jacobs\,
	 John Engels or\nHan Bennink that have been passing on the knowledge to fu
	ture generations of\njazz musicians. While not always very visible to the 
	public eye\, this music has\nalways been very alive in Amsterdam.\n\nSaxop
	honist Ben van Gelder and guitarist Reinier Baas (winner of the Boy Edgar\
	nprize 2025) proudly announce the release of their third collaborative rec
	ord\,\n‘This Is Water’. This album is a testament to their unique artistic
	 synergy\,\nrooted in the American jazz tradition\, but with unmistakably 
	European flair.\nDrawing from a shared musical vocabulary developed during
	 their 15-year\ncollaboration\, Baas and van Gelder effortlessly navigate 
	a diverse range of\nmoods and atmospheres.\n\nEppinger/Braysher Quartet (f
	eat. Darryl Hall & Eric Ineke)\n\nA truly international\, multi-generation
	al band\, the Linus Eppinger-Sam Braysher\nQuartet releases its debut albu
	m on the iconic Spanish label Fresh Sound New\nTalent in 2026. With a soun
	d rooted in the classic swinging jazz of the ’50s and\n’60s\, the band’s v
	aried repertoire includes music associated with Horace Silver\,\nDusty Spr

	ritical acclaim.\n\nDarryl Hall: powerful American double bassist who won 
	the Thelonious Monk jazz\nprize before working with Cedar Walton\, Ravi Co
	ltrane\, Carmen Lundy and many\nothers\, and now based in France.\n\nEric 
	Ineke: legend of Dutch jazz\, whose hard-swinging beat has accompanied\nDe
	xter Gordon\, George Coleman\, Al Cohn\, Barry Harris and so many others.\
	n\nO.P.’s Electroacoustic Turbulence O.P. is Oscar Ployart and Electroacou
	stic\nTurbulence is his steampunk-esque version of the jazz pianotrio. In 
	the center\nstands the iconic Wurlitzer with its vintage intrigue and capt
	ivating sound. The\nrepertoire consists of original hits and serenades of 
	the past.
