DESCRIPTION:During Museumnacht\, Arti et Amicitiae presents two exhibitions
in which\ninstallation\, performance and imagination converge. Expect ecc
entric boutiques\,\nshifting identities\, pirate myths\, music and radical
acts of imagination.\n\nIn Wellness\, Wigs and Weapons\, the exhibition s
pace is transformed into a series\nof uncanny boutiques. Wellness\, wigs a
nd weapons are brought together in\nunexpected ways\, blurring the boundar
ies between human\, object and environment.\n\nHealth and Sanity Check\n\n
During Museumnacht\, Bein van Vilsteren and Marianne Theunissen present He
alth\nand Sanity Check. In this interactive performance\, they engage in d
ialogue with\nthe dozens of objects\, furnishings\, merchandise and wigs t
hat populate the\nexhibition. Are they mentally sound? Do they use the bat
hroom? Can merchandise\never really be clean? How do wigs feel when placed
next to weapons? And what is\nthe price of wellness?\n\nVan Vilsteren and
Theunissen use a scoring system that bears an unsettling\nresemblance to
	the world around us.\n\nInteractive performance — 30 minutes\n\nStart time
s: 20:00 and 22:00\n\nSails of Anarchy is a theatrical musical performance
by Amsterdam-based art-rock\ncollective Cold in Church\, presented as par
t of their exhibition of the same\nname.\n\nCombining multichannel sound\,
painting\, kinetic light and costume\, the\nperformance expands the ficti
onal world of their concept album Convent into an\nimmersive spatial insta
llation. It also marks the release of the album.\n\nThe title is taken fro
m the closing track of Convent\, in which a speculative\nvessel transforms
and embarks on a mythical voyage. Through immersive sound and\ntheatrical
interventions\, the performance brings maritime histories into\ndialogue
with the present\, drawing on pirate mythology and radical imagination.\n\
