DESCRIPTION:After her sold out show in ANN this coming November\, Mollie El
izabeth returns to\nMelkweg in February!\n\nRaised in the woodsy seclusion
of Washington’s Cascade Mountains\, the\n22-year-old artist began dreamin
g up her own extravagant worlds as a little\ngirl\, laying the foundation
for the unfettered imagination that now defines her\ntransportive orchestr
al pop. After entering a daring new creative era with her\nbreakout hit “R
	un Rabbit\,” Mollie’s music continues to examine life’s thorniest\nquestio
ns with all the charm and tension and dazzling eccentricity of a timeless\
nfairy tale.\n\n“I’ve always believed that even the most confusing and pai
nful parts of life can\nstill be beautiful and joyful and romantic in thei
r own way\,” says Mollie. “I\nrealized at a young age that I needed to loo
k at the world through rose-colored\nglasses\, and I truly think it saved
my life. I want my music to create that\nfeeling for other people\, and gi
ve them a space where they can experience beauty\nand wonder in a way they
might not find in their everyday lives.” \n\n“I’ve heard from people that
my music helps them process hard things in a way\nthat doesn’t feel diffi
	cult or scary\, which is the biggest compliment I could\never receive\,” s
he says. “It’s made me more excited to keep building little\nworlds for pe
ople to step into—I want everyone to feel safe and seen\, and\nhopefully r
econnect with parts of themselves they maybe thought they’d lost.”
