Born in Siberia but based in France, < strong>Katya Shirshkova uses her own voice to create hypnotising polyphonic harmonies with layered compositions and dense performances. Dur ing this night she will perform her piece ‘Le Héron’, which was r eleased on Stellage in 2025.

‘Le Héron’ i s a vocal only piece consisting of four parts, each carrying its own symbo l of a life period. These life periods refer to the images of different bi rds, a way of narrating that connects to old archetypes from legends and f airytales.
