DESCRIPTION:MEE-GEMAAKT is a visual art exhibition exploring mental health.
It examines what\nhappens when personal experiences\, psychological proce
sses and human\nvulnerability are translated into art. Where words fall sh
ort\, art can offer\nanother language: a way to share experiences\, explor
e\, slow down and open up new\nperspectives.\n\n‘What you know\, but canno
t put into words.’\n\nFourteen artists give form to their lived experience
s\, each in their own way\,\nworking across different disciplines and from
a personal perspective. Art as a\nlifeline. Their works explore the recla
iming of identity\, trauma\, emotional\nturmoil\, grief\, fear and the pat
h towards recovery. MEE-GEMAAKT reveals how art\ncan become a language tha
t breaks through shame and distance\, creating space for\nconnection and m
utual understanding.\n\nThe exhibition is accompanied by a public programm
	e featuring talks\, guided\ntours and film screenings. Looking\, listening
\, asking questions and sharing\nexperiences together form the common thre
ad.\n\nArtists Guévørk Aivazian\, Monika Auch\, Ellen van Baal\, André Eve
