	er\, and researcher Maya al-Khaldi\, whose work experiments with Palestini
	an\nmusical heritage\, sound archives\, and lost performance traditions to
	 imagine a\ndecolonial future.\n\nSoraya El Kahlaoui\, researcher based in
	 Palestine\, will present her ongoing work\non the narratives of disposses
	sion between Morocco and Palestine through video\ntestimonies and life his
	tories\, reflecting on visual storytelling as a method\nfor amplifying mar
	ginalized voices and documenting experiences of loss\,\ndisplacement\, and
	 resistance.\n\nPalestinian playwright and researcher Dia Barghouti will t
	hen present her work\non Palestinian theatre\, exploring how experimentati
	on with extinct Palestinian\ntraditions and Sufi rituals can create new op
	portunities for artistic innovation\nand resistance to the Israeli occupat
	ion.\n\nThe event will conclude with an open discussion with the audience\
	, creating\nspace for collective reflection on decolonial knowledge produc
	tion\, artistic\npractice\, and the politics of representation. Moderated 
	by Khadija El Mourabit.\n\nBio’s\n\nDia Barghouti\n\nDia Barghouti is a Pa
	lestinian researcher and playwright. She holds a PhD in\nDrama and Theatre
	 Arts from Goldsmiths\, University of London (2021) and is\ncurrently a vi
	siting fellow at the European University Institute. Her research\nexplores
	 Sufi performance traditions in Palestine and Tunisia\, with a focus on\nt
	heir connections to Islamic philosophy and intellectual history. Her writi
	ngs\nhave appeared in New Theatre Quarterly\, Performance Research\, Theat
	re Research\nInternational\, Jerusalem Quarterly\, Arab Stages\, The Marka
	z Review\, among other\nacademic and cultural journals. Her most recent pl
	ay\, Journey to the Third\nDimension of a Clementine was published by Dar 
	al-Kitab (2025). The play\nincludes a collaboration with Palestinian music
	ians Maya al-Khaldi and Tareq\nAbboushi\, who composed and recorded the mu
	sic featured in the play that will be\nreleased in a forthcoming album.\n\

	 Institut français du\nProche-Orient working on land\, dispossession\, and
	 property conflicts in\nPalestine and North Africa. Combining ethnography\
	, visual methodologies\,\narchival research\, and counter-mapping\, her wo
	rk explores how creative and\ncollaborative methods can document colonial 
	violence and everyday forms of\nresistance. She is the founder of the mapp
	ing initiative Traab and director of\nthe documentary Landless Moroccans.\
	n\nKhadija El Mourabit\n\nKhadija al Mourabit is a Dutch philosopher\, wri
	ter\, poet\, and lecturer of\nAmazigh-Moroccan descent. She studied philos
	ophy at the University of Amsterdam\nand worked as a lecturer at Leiden Un
	iversity. Her poetry\, written in both Dutch\nand Tamazight\, explores the
	mes of identity\, migration\, and cultural heritage.\nAlongside her litera
	ry work\, she is active in community initiatives that amplify\nsocial just
	ice and women’s stories and perspectives\, making her a powerful\nbridge b
	etween cultures and generations.\n\nMaya Khaldi\nMaya Khaldi is a singer a
	nd composer based between Belgium and Palestine. She\nhas collaborated wit
	h a few Palestinian poets\, musicians\, playwrights\, and\nartists\, and i
	n March 2022\, released her debut album\, Other World. Maya is\ncurrently 
	a PhD researcher at LUCA School of Art\, BE\, where her research focuses\n
	on Palestinian traditional women’s songs and experimental composition to e

	k experiments with Palestinian musical heritage, sound archives, and lost 
	performance traditions to imagine a decolonial future.</p> <p>Soraya El Ka
	hlaoui, researcher based in Palestine, will present her ongoing work on th
	e narratives of dispossession between Morocco and Palestine through video

	 researcher and playwright. She holds a PhD in Drama and Theatre Arts from
	 Goldsmiths, University of London (2021) and is currently a visiting fello
	w at the European University Institute. Her research explores Sufi perform
	ance traditions in Palestine and Tunisia, with a focus on their connection
	s to Islamic philosophy and intellectual history. Her writings have appear
	ed in New Theatre Quarterly, Performance Research, Theatre Research Intern
	ational, Jerusalem Quarterly, Arab Stages, The Markaz Review, among other 
	academic and cultural journals. Her most recent play, Journey to the Third
	 Dimension of a Clementine was published by Dar al-Kitab (2025). The play
