	lidarity.\nDuring this 3-hour workshop you will make your own stamp using 
	linocut and use\nit to decorate your letter to activists imprisoned in the
	 UK for their actions\nin solidarity with the Palestinian people.\n\nWho a
	re we writing to?\nIn the UK\, more than 30 activists are currently impris
	oned without trial or\npossibility of bail. They are accused of participat
	ing in actions targeting\nweapons destined for Israel\, including at a fac
	tory of Elbit Systems\, the\nlargest manufacturer of Israeli drones and la
	nd-based military equipment which\nare “field tested” on Palestinians.\n\n
	While awaiting their trials\, some of which are scheduled to take place as
	 far\ninto the future as 2027\, the prisoners are being held in different 
	prisons\nacross the country\, with several experiencing censorship and ins
	ufficient\nmedical care.\n\nReceiving a letter from a comrade\, even a str
	anger\, can be the highlight of\ntheir day. It doesn’t only help remind th
	em that people outside the prison walls\nare thinking of them\, but also p
	rovides a welcome distraction and some updates\nabout what is going on in 
	the Palestine solidarity movement across the globe.\n\nWhat we will do\nDu
	ring the first part of the workshop you will learn how to make your own li
	no\nstamp- from coming up with your own motive\, to carving and printing w
	ith it. We\nwill then write letters to the imprisoned activists\, using ou
	r newly made stamps\nto decorate them.\n\nPracticalities\nNo prior experie
	nce with linocut is required. We will provide all the necessary\nmaterials
	\, as well as some inspiration for writing to prisoners.\nThe entrance fee
	 charged will be used to cover the material costs. Any remaining\nproceeds
