DTSTAMP:20260714T214730Z
DTSTART:20260619T180000Z
DESCRIPTION:A multilingual Evening of literary performances with Martica Mi
nipunto & Camille\nKingué.\n\nMartica Minipunto performs Lengüeteo (un des
liz). Tongue\, saliva\, clicks\,\nstuttering: involuntary excesses of soun
	d. The tongue traces an erratic\, erotic\nmap. It reveals what remains uns
	aid\, traversing and embodying the mother tongue\,\nthe organ\, memory\, t
he autobiographical: a word suspended in saliva before being\ncast into la
nguage. A piece of her inside is projected outside\, beyond the\nmargins o
f page\, of mouth.\n\nCamille Kingué reads from her poetry publications Se
	x I\, Sex 2 and other pieces.\nThe voice in her poems traces a desiring\,
doubting self: cumulative fantasies of\nunspoken scenarios merging into in
ternal dialogues. Written in the very present\ntense of love\, her writing
follows the contradictions of gestures and feelings\nthrough which femini
nity is performed\, unsettling an imposed image of womanhood.\nHer poetry
oscillates between confession and fiction\, forms of estrangement\nthrough
which the self no longer entirely coincides with its image.\n\nThe visual
gestures on the poster are paintings from Martica Minipunto’s\ntongue-pai
nting series.\nLengüeteo\, Léchage\, Licking (un lapsus) is part of our Tr
ansatlantic Voices\nseries. Through workshops\, readings and events\, the
project seeks to amplify\nwomen and queer perspectives of contemporary Lat
in American authors\, opening up\na space for resonance and resistance.\n\
