	in 1920\, she was heavily inspired by her mentor Billie Holiday and rose\n
	to fame during the 1950s. Over a career spanning decades\, she recorded mo
	re than\n60 albums and became one of the most influential voices in jazz h
	istory.\n\nLaura's passion lies with the Great American Songbook\, bringin
	g the timeless\nsongs of George Gershwin\, Irving Berlin and Duke Ellingto
	n to the public. In\n2019 Laura graduated cum laude from the Conservatoriu
	m van Amsterdam. In 2022\nshe was granted a Special Appreciation Award by 
	the jury of the Laren Jazz\nAward. Over the years\, Laura has sung in the
