DESCRIPTION:An evening of film and poetry on witnessing Palestine\n\nHow to
bear witness to a world that burns before our eyes? Explore with us as we
\nmove between screen and street\, between images and words\, through film
and\npoetry that emerged from the political struggle in solidarity with P
alestine\,\nhere in Amsterdam.\n\nStudent protests have played an importan
t role in making anti-colonial\nsolidarity and resistance visible. The con
stant flow of images on social media\nfueled mobilization\, as well as exh
austion. Join us as we watch Class Outside\n(Aylin Kuryel\, Deniz Buga\, F
ırat Yücel\, 2026) and Happiness (Fırat Yücel\, 2025).\nTwo films that fol
low how the city and the screen are inhabited\, contested\, and\nreclaimed
by students who refused. And how bearing witness transforms the way we\nl
ook at the world and relate to one another. You can check the trailers bel
ow.\n\nAlongside the films\, Çağlar Köseoğlu will share poems from his man
uscript our\nlove is terroristic\, written for the end of this world. The
screening and\nreading will be followed by a conversation with the artists
	\, moderated by Koray\nComert.\n\n\nFILMS\n\nHappiness (dir: Fırat Yücel\,
	 18 min\, 2025) unfolds as a desktop documentary\,\ntracing the experience
of living through livestreamed genocide in Palestine\,\ndigital overload\
, and political unrest. Moving across browser windows\, messages\,\nand fr
agments of everyday life\, the film reflects on how screens become sites o
f\nboth exhaustion and mobilization.\n\nClass Outside (dir: Aylin Kuryel\,
	 Deniz Buga\, Fırat Yücel\, 30 min\, 2026) shifts\nthe focus to the street
. Emerging from the student encampments and protest\nmovements in Amsterda
m\, the film takes the form of a collective video diary\nshaped by a broad
network of participants. It explores how images are produced\nwithin stru
ggle\, how they circulate\, and how they sustain forms of collective\natte
ntion and action.\n\n\nLINE-UP\n\nAylin Kuryel\n\nAylin Kuryel is Assistan
