DESCRIPTION:Nature needs more voices and representatives to protect and mon
	itor it. During\nthe workshop\, you will learn to look at the connection b
	etween people and water\n– the IJ and the North Sea – in a different way.\
	n\nSpecifically\, we will focus on the Dogger Bank\, the ecological heart 
	of the\nNorth Sea. It is a vital breeding ground and a hugely nutrient-ric
	h area for\ncountless species\, including minke whales\, porpoises\, grey 
	seals\, gannets\,\npuffins and various mussels. Yet very few people are fa
	miliar with the area.\nThis isn't surprising\, as it is remote and what ha
	ppens at sea is visible to\nvery few people. At the same time\, the Dogger
	 Bank ecosystem – despite its\nprotected status – is under threat and bein
	g degraded\, for example by oil\nextraction and offshore wind farms.\n\nTh
	e Dogger Bank needs more voices and representatives to ensure its protecti
	on\nand monitoring. But how can we relate to a place that is so far away a
	nd\ninaccessible? And how can you help protect such a place? We will explo
	re this\ntogether during this workshop. You will learn to look at the conn
