DESCRIPTION:DATE: 8 NOV\n\nTIME: 11H-12H30\n\nPRICE: €30\; €5 for Stadspas
	holders\n\nLANGUAGE: EN + NL\n\nSound becomes shape! Children speak\, hum
and sing into a vibrating plate covered\nwith fine sand\, and watch their
voice turn into a pattern. They discover that\nevery sound is a vibration\
, and that high and low sounds create different\nshapes. Inspired by Wassi
ly Kandinsky\, who believed colours have sounds\,\nchildren draw and paint
what they see. We finish with a listening game: how do\nwe recognise our
surroundings through sound alone?\n\nThe workshop is designed & led by Ahm
et Dundar and Secil Guven in collaboration\nwith Art Studio Amsterdam\n\nT
his workshop is an extension of a children's art and science course.\n\n‍\n\
	nHOSTED BY\n\nSeçil Güven - Artist\, Educator & Social Entrepreneur\n\nI’m
an experienced art teacher and social entrepreneur with a strong backgrou
nd\nin both studio practice and educational design. I undertook a Fine Art
	s in\nEducation degree at Marmara University in 2016. Since then\, I have
created and\nled art courses in drawing\, painting\, and mixed techniques
for children and\nadults\, including those with special needs.\n\nMore inf
