	ch like Dulfer\, Pierre Courbois is one of the living legends of Dutch jaz
	z\nscene. He was at the forefront of many developments in European (free) 
	jazz\,\ntook lessons from Kenny Clarke in Paris\, and has played alongside
	 greats such as\nEric Dolphy\, Don Cherry\, Charles Mingus\, and John Colt
	rane. As a bandleader and\ndrum innovator\, he continues to seek out new c
	reative perspectives. His playing\nis powerful and full of ideas. Courbois
	 first met Dulfer for a duet earlier this\nyear\, and it was immediately c
