In BothBodies, two perfor mers enter a shifting world of light and illusion, searching for where the Self ends and the Other begins. Moving around a reflective, transparent s creen, their bodies melt together, overlap, disappear and reappear, seemin gly inhabiting each other’s space. Through this visual choreography, SKYPU NCH COLLECTIVE explores how boundaries between bodies can soften and trans form. What unfolds is a surreal reality in constant motion, where images d issolve as quickly as they emerge.

Balancing between intimacy and a lienation, dream and physical presence, BothBodies invites the audience in to a poetic and hypnotic experience; a mesmerising choreography for two bo dies and their reflections that invites a more fluid way of seeing.

In BothBod ies betreden twee performers een ongrijpbare wereld van licht en illusie, op zoek naar waar het Zelf eindigt en de Ander begint. Rondom een transpar ant, reflecterend scherm bewegen ze ogenschijnlijk in elkaars fysieke ruim te; hun lichamen verschijnen en verdwijnen weer, vloeien in elkaar over en smelten samen. Met deze sterk beeldende choreografie onderzoekt SKYPUNCH COLLECTIVE hoe grenzen tussen lichamen kunnen verzachten en transformeren. Wat zich ontvouwt is een surrealistische werkelijkheid in voortdurende be weging, waarin beelden even snel opduiken als oplossen.
