DESCRIPTION:New indie rock band from Edinburgh\n\nThere’s something in Frig
ht Years’ sound that can only come from Edinburgh: the\nweather\, the beau
ty and the weight of everything that has happened there. The\nfour-piece c
reate guitar-driven indie rock in which personal pain is transformed\ninto
something universal. Since forming in 2021\, Fright Years have built a\nr
eputation for powerful live performances and a rapidly growing fanbase. Wi
th\nnew music and a new record label behind them\, the band is embarking o
n the next\nchapter. Fright Years’ music draws on 1990s alternative rock\,
1980s post-punk\nand new wave\, yet sounds entirely contemporary. Influen
ces from bands such as\nWolf Alice\, The Killers and Yeah Yeah Yeahs come
together in a sound that is\nboth raw and compelling. And if Florence + Th
e Machine ever struck a chord deep\nwithin you\, Fright Years are the next
	 band you need to hear.
