SUMMARY:Florence Road
DTSTAMP:20261006T001602Z
DTSTART:20270513T183000Z
DESCRIPTION:A four-piece indie rock band from Ireland\n\nFlorence Road star
ted out as four friends playing covers during their lunch\nbreak at school
	 in Ireland. Now\, a few years\, plenty of rehearsals in the barn\nand a T
ikTok cover of Paramore later\, life for Lily Aron\, Emma Brandon\, Ailbhe
\nBarry and Hannah Kelly looks quite different. The band released their fi
rst\nmixtape in 2025 and have gone from strength to strength ever since\,
with\nsold-out tours and ever-larger festival sets.\n\nTheir music sits so
mewhere between indie rock and alternative pop\, with guitars\nthat really
let rip and choruses that are usually just as powerful. The lyrics\ncome
from a very relatable place: being in love\, trying to grow up and sometim
es\nsimply not knowing what to do with yourself. For instance\, the new tr
ack ‘7563’\nis about feeling lost and alienated\, and about the moment whe
n you realise you\nhave to find your way out of it yourself. As a result\,
Florence Road often sound\ngrand\, but above all they write about the cha
	os that comes with it.
