DESCRIPTION:On 11 July 2026\, social artist Sun Chang hosts a ritual homeco
	ming for Family\nEmbodiment Practice\, a queer-migrant art pedagogy shaped
	 through six years of\ncommunity research. Rooted in embodied practice\, c
	ollective learning and\nmore-than-human kinship\, this ritual invites part
	icipants to explore how family\ncan be felt\, remembered and reimagined be
	yond the inherited forms. Through art\,\nsomatic practice\, reading and im
	agination\, the ritual asks how people connect\nwith their bodies\, ancest
	ors\, materials\, places and each other.\n\nFamily Embodiment Practice was
	 developed through five monthly research rituals\nwith 36 participants at 
	Framer Framed between September 2025 and January 2026.\n\nDrawing from que
	er and migrant perspectives\, it shares lived communal wisdom and\nquestio
	ns the frameworks that divide people into borders\, classifications and\nr
	acialised identities no one chooses. This afternoon\, the space where the\
	nresearch rituals were held becomes a site of practice again. The Book Kin
	 –\nFamily Embodiment Practice: A Queer-Migrant Art Pedagogy for Becoming 
	Kins –\narrives home for the first time. And the Ritual Kin – a giant synt
	hetic fabric\nthat held the communal space of the research rituals – retur
	ns to Framer Framed.\n\nParticipants are invited into this practice of sha
	red knowledge through a brief\nintroduction of the research journey\, move
	ment\, collective reading and sharing\ncircle. Participants will breathe\,
	 move\, draw\, read\, and listen together.\nEveryone who has ever longed t
	o define family on their own terms\, and everyone\nwho did not know they w
	ere longing until now is warmly invited. Together\,\nparticipants can expl
	ore ways to loosen inherited ideas of what family is\nsupposed to be.\n\nC
	ome with whoever\, human or more-than-human\, you consider family. Please
