DESCRIPTION:On 5 August\, Framer Framed organises a creative workshop for c
	hildren aged 8 and\nover\, led by artist and educator Naomi Rosheuvel. Dur
	ing this workshop\, children\ndraw inspiration from the tapestry Threads o
	f Our Dutch Slavery Past. Together\,\nthey discover the stories hidden wit
	hin the tapestry and discuss history\,\nidentity and what connects us all.
	\n\nThe participants then get creative themselves\, working with colours\,
	 shapes and\nsymbols. They explore questions such as: Which people are imp
	ortant to you? And\nwhich memories\, traditions or events are part of your
	 family’s history? In this\nway\, children discover how they can translate
	 personal stories into images and\ntextiles\, and create their own artwork
	 in which their own history is brought to\nlife.\n\nThe maximum number of
